If you choose to stay overnight in Moab, you will find that there are some wonderful places to hike during your stay. The hikes offered at Arches National Park are unique in that they offer you the chance to hike in a desert that is also filled with oasis type flora like cacti. This makes it an unforgettable experience for anyone. Another great aspect of camping at Arches National Park is that you can hike to several trails in several sections of the park. There are some campgrounds in Moab that do allow overnight campers, but the price is usually a bit more expensive than if you simply planned to stay at a Moab hotel and then hike to the arches.
